We went on a little vacation to see family last month and when we got back we were all sick. As you can imagine we went through boxes and boxes of Kleenex. Once we all got better I found that I had a little collection of boxes next to my trash can and like everything that is head to the trash can I always ask myself if I could do something with it. All of the sudden it came to me! I have been practicing the A, B, C’s with my kiddo and this would be a great way to help him learn his letters and receive a little prize once he got it right! Here is how I made my DIY Recycled Tissue Box Learning Blocks.
I got the letter card at the dollar bin at Target and used some glue to attach it to the boxes.
I did cut the edges of some of the card to help them blend better with the color of the box.
I place a couple pieces of candy and little dinosaurs so my kiddo never knows what he is going to find as a prize on each box.
I can also use the boxes as building block and stack them up to make words once my little one is ready for the challenge.
Tell me what will you be doing with your Kleenex boxes? I know that I will not throw out another Kleenex box again! You really never know what you could do with simple thing that you are ready to throw out in the trash.
